Christopher Quinten – Brian Tilsley In Coronation Street

Christopher Quinten became a household name at age 21 by playing Brian Tilsley on “Coronation Street” from 1978 to 1989. He left the ITV soap opera after disclosing plans to move to America to marry his then-fiancée, talk show host Leeza Gibbons. The producers then killed his character, having a gang of teenagers stab him to death outside a nightclub.

The British actor has since moved on from the world’s longest-running drama serial by joining other shows like “Hollyoaks.” Quinten also found himself a new fiancée in a lap dancer named Robyn Delabarre, who is apparently 40 years his junior.
