Monica Lewinsky – $1.5 Million

Monica Lewinsky gained a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons. She is, of course, infamous for the affair between her and former U.S. president Bill Clinton. It was detrimental to both parties, although while Clinton still had various opportunities to grow his wealth, Lewinsky’s was limited.

At least that’s what it looked like. Instead, she gained some celebrity and used it to become a TV personality and even design a line of handbags with her name on them. She also pursued a degree in psychology, studying in London. This took her out of the spotlight, although she returned in 2014 as a social activist targeting cyberbullying.
