Most of us are used to keeping up with our favorite celebrities’ newest projects, their fashion trends, and lifestyles. One of the most common fascinations we all have is about their wealth and fortune. Generally, it has to do with its real estate and luxury vehicles.
When famous people achieve great success, their bank accounts simultaneously surpass common limits. Therefore, most celebs often opt for the most lavish households, and these acquisitions almost always hit headlines. Here we have a list of 55 celebrity properties that will make you feel a tad jealous but will surely blow your minds away. Let’s start
Billy Joel – $16.9 Million, Palm Beach
After his song Piano Man became a huge hit, Billy Joel became the “Piano Man.” With more than 150 million record sales around the world, he made a sweet, sweet fortune for himself. With all that money rolling in, Joel purchased multiple properties.
His Palm Beach mansion caught the eye of many when news broke about the purchase. Joel purchased the 13,000-square-foot house in 2014 for $11.8 million. It seems that the eight-bedroom eight-bathroom residence overlooking the coast was purchased as an investment property. We believe so because just one year later, after renovations, he listed the mansion for $19.5 million—a price tag that later dropped to $16.9 million.
Sophia Loren – $22 Million, Rome
The Italian actress Sophia Loren only rose to prominence following her portrayal of Cesira on Two Women in 1961. This performance earned her a Grammy Award for Best Actress, and multiple other prizes were added to her collection over the course of her career.
Loren’s late husband, Carlo Ponti, gave her the house of her (or anybody’s) dreams when they settled in their 19th century 50-room mansion post-marriage. The 1,300-square-meter estate went up for sale in 2018 for a whopping $22 million. Located in the Appian Way Park, this beauty had the most rustic yet classy interiors.
Tom Selleck – Price Undisclosed, Bay Ridge
You probably know Tom Selleck, even more so for his thick mustache than his acting. Having gained fame with the role of Thomas Magnum on Magnum P. I., his career spans over five decades now. Since 2010, Selleck has been starring in the CBS series Blue Bloods.
The house pictured above does not really belong to Selleck, nor does he live there—at least not in real life. The Colonial-style brick house built in the ’20s is Selleck’s (or Frank Reagan’s) home solely on the TV show. Blue Bloods fans hold on to your hats for this! The Reagan house actually belongs to the Diocese of Saint Maron. Say what now?
