Celebrities often have the tough task of keeping us entertained and also keeping up with appearances. The number on a scale has prevented several of our favorite stars from getting certain roles. Besides trying to maintain svelte physiques, most celebrities are forced to shed off the extra pounds to stay healthy.
With their loaded pockets, several celebrities have gone under the knife to lose weight. However, several more have simply watched what they eat and adopted more active lifestyles to drop the pounds. Here is a list of celebrities who had impressive weight loss results.
Celine Dion – Weight Lost Undisclosed – Dancing
In 2019, Celine Dion became the subject of celebrity headlines because of her markedly svelte frame. She received criticism because most people felt that she was too thin. Her weight loss also came as a surprise because she hadn’t really talked about it.
She clearly lost weight, but it had nothing to do with getting a surgical procedure done. It was actually because she started a ballet regimen. In 2019, Celine completed her residency in Vegas, released new music, and embarked on a tour to promote her new album Courage.
Kim Kardashian – 20 Lbs – Rigorous Workouts & A Low-Carb Meal Plan
When Kim Kardashian welcomed her son Saint, she was ripping the scale on the heavier side. Having been a vocal supporter of Atkins Nutritionals in the past, she turned back to the weight loss program to lose the pounds. She lost 70lbs and gained a fitter body.
She also worked with Melissa Alcantara, a personal trainer, and controversially dropped down to 116 lbs after losing another 20lbs. Interestingly, her regime involves a grueling training session at night. Towards the end of 2019, Kim revealed that she had gained 18 lbs. She’s still working with Alcantara and will probably drop the weight in no time.
Janet Jackson – 70 pounds – Good Workout Schedule
She might’ve been 50 when she announced her pregnancy, but age didn’t stop Janet Jackson from getting back in the best shape of her life. She worked closely with her personal trainer, mostly doing cardio for at least 45 minutes, four to six days a week.
Soon enough, Janet had lost all the 70 pounds she had gained while pregnant. Of course, being freshly divorced must have given her some additional will to shed the weight too. Janet is now looking better than even in her mid-50s. In 2020 she was a musical guest at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
