Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson, a former NFL player, have always been vocal about their love for each other. In November 2010, it was reported to PEOPLE that Simpson and Johnson were engaged. Simpson later revealed on The Early Show that Johnson had planned the proposal for a while and had even talked to her parents about it.
