Lost In Translation – 2,900% Profit

There are some filmmakers who are good at spotting a recipe for success, and some of those were responsible for the classic dark comedy Lost In Translation.

One could argue that a film starring actor Bill Murray and actress Scarlett Johansson couldn’t fail even if it tried, but we reckon it’s fair to say that director Sofia Coppola helped guide these stars and the movie on the path of infamy it achieved. Together the production turned four million dollars into nearly a hundred and twenty million and we’re surprised it didn’t earn even more.
