Julie Andrews, Age 85 – The Sound Of Music
Dame Julie Andrews became known as Britain’s youngest prima donna after making her West End debut at 13. Six years later, she made her Broadway debut in a stage production called The Boy Friend. She went on to play Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady and Queen Guinevere in Camelot on Broadway.
For her contribution to the arts and sciences, Andrews earned a DBE (Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire) and won the Oscar for Best Actress with her role in 1964’s Mary Poppins. She also does voice acting and will lend her voice to Minions: The Rise Of Gru.
