Gloria Henry, Age 97 –  Dennis The Menace

Gloria Henry gained fame as Alice Mitchell, the mother of one of the most famous child characters in the industry. That child was Dennis Mitchell of Dennis The Menace, the TV series based on a comic strip with the same title. The show ran from 1959 to 1963, proving to be the magnum opus for pretty much all of its lead characters.

Things undoubtedly slowed down for Henry after the show got canceled, though, citing that it typecast her as a mother character. She still continued to have small roles in films and also had a minor return to film in the 2005 movie Her Minor Thing.
