Keeping the Fireplace Neat and Warm

Because of its ability to sustain a high amount of heat, aluminum foil is ideal for high-temperature areas like the fireplace. In colder conditions, fireplaces help with keeping the temperature high or moderate but cleaning it can be a real task, especially when the ashes settle down.

However, it can be easier if you line the bottom of the fireplace with aluminum foil. Place the foil below the grate before the woods are put in place and you can remove the ashes when it’s cool. Then you can simply fold up the foil and lay a fresh one.
