Nora Roberts is a phenomenal romance novelist who began her career back in 1981 when she published her very first novel called Irish Thoroughbred. Throughout her years as a creative romance author, Nora published over 225 novels, all flying off the shelves because they were all bestsellers. She has sold over 500 million copies of her work and is considered one of the greatest romance writers in America. Roberts was the first author to become a Romance Writers of America inductee. She also writes thriller novels under the pen name J.D. Robb and eleven of her novels have been adapted into movies. Roberts volunteers in charity work through the Nora Roberts Foundation.
