Slurpee Heaven
Companies introduce new and exciting schemes for the publicity of their products, and 7/11’s marketing team had the brilliant idea of launching their “Bring Your Own Cup” promotion on National Slurpee Day. The intentions behind the ploy were good, but perhaps they needed to be made aware of the lengths people would go to get their favorite treat.
One man left the employees shocked by bringing a fish tank as his “cup” of choice. There was nothing anyone could do at the moment, so the lucky guy walked away with gallons of Slurpee. However, his actions caused 7/11 to reconsider the promotional deal.
