Joel Embiid was the third overall pick during the 2014 NBA draft but a series of knee and foot injuries postponed his debut. At that point, Embiid didn’t have a permanent residence and he was living in a hotel room. He teamed up with former meteorologist-turned-high-end real estate agent John Bolaris to scour around for a suitable abode. He ended up with a $2.1-million condo offering three bedrooms with three and a half baths. Embiid opened his doors to Bolaris when the realtor launched his brand, TCS Black Label.
