Clemency Burton-Hill

Clemency Burton-Hill has been no stranger to the world of music and broadcasting. Having grown up playing the violin and later studying English at Magdalene College in Cambridge, she was well-prepared for her entrance into the broadcasting world in 2008.

Her time at the Royal College of Music further served to hone her skills, making her the ideal candidate for writing and presenting the BBC’s music documentaries, such as “Stradivarius and Me” and “Who’s Yehudi?” Her musical expertise has been no less valuable in her current role as creative director of the U.S. classical radio station, WQXR, which she has held since 2021.
