If anyone asks you who the richest woman in the world is, you say Françoise Bettencourt Meyers. Although she didn’t have to do much to earn her fortune, the L’Oreal Heiress has channeled her money towards her passion… writing a book.

Her works revolve around bible commentary and the relations between Christians and Jews, which goes hand in hand with her marriage to Rabbi’s grandson Jean-Pierre Meyers. Together they are raising their two sons in the Jewish faith, ironic since Bettencourt’s grandfather and founder of the cosmetic company was tried for being in cahoots with Nazis. Her fortune currently sites at $75 billion.
