Daniel Centeno is a Brazilian pilot who caused a stir among internet users a few years ago when he posted a remarkable selfie in mid-air. The selfie was taken while he was flying above the manufactured Palm Islands in Dubai, and people were surprised to see how he had managed to get it.

It was rumored he had opened the shutters, a major no-no for pilots, thousands of feet in the air. However, it was later revealed that Centeno had merely used his advanced Photoshop skills to edit an aerial shot of the Palm Islands and turn it into a selfie, giving the illusion that he was taking the photo from above.
