A Fresh Take on Scaring Birds

Pest birds threatening to ravage crops is an age-old concern for farmers. It’s not just about protecting their livelihood; these crops also serve as sustenance for numerous families. Traditional scarecrows, though customary, often fail in their purpose, as many birds can tell the difference between a human and a lifeless stand-in.

As shown in this drone-captured photograph, the farm owner seems to have taken an inventive approach to resolve this problem. Towering over the fields is an enormous scare-bird, designed to intimidate its smaller peers. If humans can strike fear in each other, wouldn’t a gigantic bird instill terror in its smaller brethren? It’s an interesting shift in pest control strategies!
