Frozen Hair? Where Else But Alaska?

The Chena Hot Springs in Alaska make for an extreme vacation destination. Why? Because you get to experience a -20º F temperature while also enjoying a nice hot spring bath. Confusingly enough, you get to wear a bathing suit in Alaska, which sounds just crazy!

This picture was shared on Reddit by this woman’s husband, and it shows what happens to someone’s hair when the extremely low Alaskan temperatures hit. It looks like something coming straight out of a Halloween costume, but it’s real. Reportedly, you can also catch the aurora borealis at Chena Hot Springs, so we cannot wait to visit it!
