A Rather Public Reprimand

Donald reprimanded her publicly for pointing towards her Jamaican heritage when the topic of smoking marijuana came up during a radio interview. The joke didn’t go over well with her father, who sent a statement to Global Online about the incident.

In it, he said that his parents and ancestors are turning in their graves hearing their family name and Jamaican identity associated with the stereotype of a typical Jamaican being a “pot-smoking joy seeker.” He then said that he’d like to dissociate himself and his immediate family from what he described as a “travesty.”
