A Last Plea for Help
Not ready to give up, Beatrice tried one last time to prove she belonged on the flight. She knew she had her boarding pass when she got on the plane—it had to be in the system. Tears filled her eyes as she asked the flight attendants to check the records, hoping they’d see she was supposed to be there.
She even handed over her passport, pleading for someone to verify her seat. But the flight attendant just rolled her eyes and dismissed her, saying it would take too long. Feeling utterly defeated, Beatrice realized there was nothing more she could do and prepared to leave.
