Name That Tune

Although the show ‘Name That Tune’ was famous on radio in the fifties, its notoriety and fame increased when its television iteration saw the light in that same decade, and it remained a firm favorite for the next twenty years!

Contestants were chosen from the audience, and the goal was to identify a song in as few notes as possible. The more the band or orchestra had to play the song, the less money you’d win. We’d love to see a modernized version of this concept, as the amount of music available today would undoubtedly make for a spectacular challenge!
