Zdeno Chára

Things can sometimes get very competitive or violent on the ice hockey rink, but when you such a large frame like Zdeno Chára, you get privilege and leverage over the other not-so-tall players. The defenceman is officially called Big Z for being the tallest performer ever in the NHL.

The Slovakian born sportsman has represented his country several times in world championships and Olympics and has also brought two silver medals and uncountable trophies home. To date, he remains the only second athlete to have ever won the Stanley Cup.
