Vera Lynn – ~ Price Undisclosed, East Sussex

A painting room, large living areas, and a collection of antique furniture were all the things needed to make Vera Lynn feel like she was at home in Ditchling, East Sussex. She had bought this place back in the ‘60s, with her late husband, Harry Lewis. It’s the very house in which she passed away at the age of 103, in 2020.

By the time of her death, they also owned the house next door, where their only daughter lives. Vera became famous for singing songs like We’ll Meet Again. We may not be able to know how much she spent on buying the house, but given her success, it was undoubtedly pricey.
