Kathleen Sebelius & K. Gary Sebelius – Together Since 1974

Kathleen Sebelius was amongst the policymakers who played an instrumental role in implementing Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act. She held the office of the U.S. Health and Human Services at the time. Kathleen was also the second woman to serve as the Governor of Kansas.

Kathleen is married to Keith Gary Sebelius, a former Kansas district magistrate who retired in 2019. They had their big day in 1974 at the Governor’s Mansion in Ohio. They have two sons who are all grown-up, and the family has a vacation home in Leland, Michigan.
