Ayanna Pressley & Conan Harris – Together Since 2014

Ayanna Pressley is the representative of Massachusetts’ 7th congressional district. Pressley has held the position since 2019, and the demanding nature of the job hasn’t given her adequate time to learn how to drive. Her husband, Conan Harris, drives her occasionally while she also relies on other modes of transportation.

Harris spent ten years behind bars, and Pressley explained that she realized how incarceration affects the community. They married in 2014 when Harris had already reintegrated back to society in Boston successfully. They are now avid activists for re-entry reforms. Harris also supported the plan tabled to cancel the student loan debts 44 million Americans owed.
