Sandra Refuses to Back Down
Greg was deceptively calm as he walked over to Sandra’s house and knocked on her door. When he asked her if her kids had been in the pool, she replied in a defiant tone that she didn’t know what he was talking about.
That smugness of hers nearly pushed Greg to his boiling point. Yet, he kept his cool, biting back the sharp retort that danced on the tip of his tongue. Instead of giving in to anger, Greg shifted gears. He pulled out the stack of repair bills, handing over evidence of the damages her carelessness had cost him.
