There’s Only One Rule

Greg made it crystal clear to all the kids in the neighborhood, “Keep your dogs out of the pool!” This wasn’t some random rule he pulled out of thin air. He knew all too well that those playful pups’ claws could tear through the pool liner like tissue paper.

“Stick to this one simple rule, and we’re all going to have a great time,” he promised them. And for a while, everything was perfect. The pool was alive with the sound of laughter and splashing during those hot summer days. But, as luck would have it, that peace was short-lived.
