Jerry Lee Lewis became known as The Killer for his intense and high octane performances often led to his shows getting canceled. He was also renowned for delivering pivotal lines, and “Goodness gracious, great balls of fire” is probably one of the most iconic ones he has ever uttered.
His other notable songs include Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On, Breathless, and High School Confidential. Lewis won a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award and got inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. His box set All Killer, No Filler: The Anthology also got included in the Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time.
