Dean Stockwell, Age 84 – Quantum Leap
Dean Stockwell worked in the film and TV industry for 70 years, starting as a child actor signed to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer productions. During this time, he had a string of ’40s movies, including Anchors Aweigh, The Green Years, Gentleman’s Agreement, and Kim.
But his star didn’t fade as he lost his childish charm, and he continued to gain fame in films like Long Day’s Journey into Night, which won him the best actor award at the Cannes Film Festival. He later starred in films like Beverly Hills Cop 2 and Airforce One. However, Stockwell eventually retired in 2015 after starring in his last movie, Entertainment.
