Peace Out!
The beauty of the Woodstock festival in 1969 was the peace and love message shared between the festival-goers. With thousands of people attending the event, it is not surprising that there was a lot of garbage to be taken care of after everyone had left for their homes.
A few volunteers stayed behind to help the community clean up, and they did it in the most extraordinary way. The group created a peace sign using the trash, which was so big that it was clearly visible to helicopters covering the event. Even garbage can be useful; after all, the message was loud and clear!
