John Elway – $145 Million

John Elway, a former NFL quarterback, has been successful in both sports and business, acquiring a fortune of $145 million as a result. He spent his entire career with the Denver Broncos and set numerous records, retiring at the end of the ’90s. From salary alone, Elway earned $47 million in total, but it was significantly supplemented with money from endorsements.

Apart from those earnings, Elway also cashed out on a car dealership he founded when it sold for $82.5 million. Despite making some unsuccessful investments, he remains one of the wealthiest people in his industry. Currently, he serves as the general manager and president of the Broncos.
