Molly Ringwald, 55 – Samantha Baker from Sixteen Candles
Molly Ringwald had a childhood of roller-skating fame as a Mouseketeer on The New Mickey Mouse Club. In 1984, director John Hughes propelled her to superstardom with “Sixteen Candles,” winning legions of fans worldwide. A string of teen flick classics like “The Breakfast Club” and “Pretty in Pink” followed.
Fed up with her unpleasant 1980s Hollywood experience, Ringwald hopped on a jet to France to take a break. She has since been setting stages on fire; first Broadway with Cabaret, then “Riverdale” on The CW. She even has a jazz album, novel, and translated a memoir about Maria Schneider, the “Last Tango in Paris” star.
