Kellie Shanygne Williams, 47 – Laura Winslow from Family Matters
Kellie Shanygne Williams is a classic 1990s pop culture icon! With her breakout role as Laura Winslow in the classic show “Family Matters,” her popularity skyrocketed, and she became a household name. After the show, she got several projects, including “What About Joan” and “Steppin: The Movie,” and voiced Roberta Tubbs in the beloved cartoon “The Cleveland Show.”
In 2006, Williams returned to her hometown, Washington, D.C., forming the Kellie Williams Program to expose kids to the arts that wouldn’t have had that chance otherwise. In 2021, her daughter Hannah Belle Jackson followed in her footsteps by getting her first film role in the holiday movie “Merry Switchmas.”
