Nina Hartley, 64 – Nina from Educating Nina

Nina Hartley is an iconic figure in the adult industry. CNBC even dubbed her as “a legend in the adult world.” She first gained recognition in 1984 with her breakout performance in “Educating Nina.” She actually went to San Francisco State University’s undergraduate nursing school, graduating magna cum laude and becoming a registered nurse until her license reached its expiration in 1986.

Throughout the years, Hartley has become an icon for her passionate advocacy of adult workers’ rights, taking a stance against censorship and stigma against adult entertainment. She received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the 2014 Fanny Awards for all her work.
