Evelyn Taft

Why only speak one language if you can speak four? Born in California, CBS2/KCAL9 presenter Evelyn Taft grew up talking Russian with her parents and is also fluent in French and Hebrew. She sure is a talented broadcaster with degrees in broadcast journalism and political science, plus a meteorology certificate – isn’t that brilliant!

Life as a weather forecaster is never dull, and Evelyn has found herself reporting from the front line of some dangerous situations, including several Santa Barbara County wildfires. She has been granted the National Weather Association ‘Seal of Approval,’ and it sounds to us like she indeed deserves it!
