Recognizing Arby’s Efforts

Arby’s efforts to lend a helping hand didn’t go unnoticed. The veteran group Run for the Wall recognized the food company for its generosity toward Mr. Doug, but Gamage maintained aiding their avid diner was already a reward in itself. The manager also underlined that it was an honor to serve him.

Before Parker’s story going viral, Arby’s had been giving special offers to veterans as a way to appreciate their contributions. In 2016, the restaurant celebrated Veterans Day by giving military personnel a free roast beef sandwich, coincidentally the same flavor that our beloved customer loves.
