The Customer Goes AWOL
Unlike other restaurant staff, Salazar was kind to Swords as she always smiled at him. She would also ask him about his day and how he had been doing, proving how dedicated she was in getting to know the customer despite his rudeness. With their daily interactions, she was surprised when the grumpy veteran didn’t come by one day.
It’s true, they didn’t have an ideal relationship, but she kind of developed a fondness for the elderly man. Plus, because he had been a regular customer every day, he was somewhat considered a fixture at Luby’s.
