Seeing the Customer’s Name in the Paper

Salazar didn’t expect to see Swords name in the newspaper, all the more in the obituary section. It did answer her query about her irritable client’s whereabouts, but unfortunately, it broke her heart. Upon reading his name, tears began to form in her eyes.

All she could think about was that she could no longer see or hear him again, even though he was often mad or demanding. Still, she had to put on a brave face because she had to serve during her shift. She powered through that day with a heavy heart.
