Knowing Mr. Doug

Coye and other Arby’s employees learned that Mr. Doug is actually a World War II veteran staying at a retirement home. He doesn’t have a family, so he pretty much treats the employees as his relatives. So every lunchtime, he would go there to get a bite of his favorite comfort food.

His answer was already heartbreaking, but the employees also wanted to know why he chose to eat at Arby’s instead of other shops that offer healthier or better choices. After all, he is well in his golden years.
