But Mrs. Dalton had her sights set on something else – finding her lost ring. “Thanks, but no thanks,” she replied graciously. “I’ve got to locate my ring first.” Paula’s smile remained unwavering. “Oh, come on, Mrs. Dalton,” she insisted. “Your husband’s been worried sick, clueless about your whereabouts. Let’s return to the beach tomorrow to look for the ring.”
