David Birney, Age 82 – Actor

After retracting himself from the spotlight for more than twenty years, David Birney finally appeared in public in 2012, playing the A.R. Gurney’s Pulitzer Prize-nominated play ‘Love Letters.’ To be honest, we were shocked and delighted at the same time, as the actor was still able to nail the role given to him!

Oddly enough, David’s appearance also didn’t change after all the hiatus years. Somehow, the aura of a youthful and handsome celebrity was still there, successfully hypnotizing everybody who attended the play. We could even argue that without him, the performance wouldn’t have been as flawless!
