Fruits can change their state really quickly, going from unripe to ripe and then to rotten in a matter of only a few days. That may be why this store decided to stock up on unripe watermelons that looked and tasted like lemons.

In all seriousness, a poor grocery store employee made the mistake of loading the juicy lemons into the watermelon stand. Customers who want to buy watermelons can check out the lemon stand to see if they can find them there instead. This mix-up isn’t the end of the world, but it certainly made everyone in the grocery store chuckle.
