Papery Spices
Don’t let typos ruin your cooking game. Labeling your spices is a great way to keep things organized in the kitchen, but double-check those labels before printing. A slight mistake can result in a big mix-up, like reaching for what you thought was white pepper only to find out that it’s actually white paper.
Luckily, white pepper isn’t too overpowering in taste, so accidentally using it in your cooking won’t ruin the dish, but adding paper would undoubtedly change the situation. Even if the chef understands the mistyped labels, it’s still better to have the correct spellings of the spices.
