Star Wars fans need no introduction to Billy Dee Williams, the actor who gave life to Lando Calrissian’s role in the franchise. He started with Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in 1980 and continues to do justice to the character over 40 years later.

Williams’s most recent big-screen appearance was in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019. In addition to the films of the said franchise, the 85-year-old has had notable roles in 18 Wheels of Justice, General Hospital: Night Shift, and Diary of a Single Mom, among dozens of others. With ups and downs, Williams has been married to Teruko Nakagami since 1972.
