Robert Fuller – Age 89
Actor Robert Fuller used his deep, raspy voice and eccentric character portrayals to charm his way into the hearts of cinephiles globally. Starting his acting career in the late fifties as an extra, he steadily rose the ranks, mainly appearing in Westerns until he gained widespread popularity as a series regular on dozens of TV shows including ‘Laramie, Wagon Train’ and ‘Emergency!.’
He has received the German Otto Awards, Japanese Best Actor, and Golden Order of Merit awards alongside recognition of his contribution to cowboy and Western heritage. Fuller, however, retired from the film business to raise horses on a ranch in North Texas.
