Lucy Liu’s acting career started in high school when she won the lead role of Alice in the school production of ‘Alice in Wonderland.’ However, her mainstream movie debut was in the 1996 movie ‘Jerry Maguire’ where she acted as one of Tom Cruise’s character’s many former girlfriends.

Over the years, she has co-starred in several big-screen projects such as ‘Half the Sky,’ ‘Chicago,’ and ‘Charlie’s Angels.’ Liu earned an Emmy nomination in 1999 when she featured in the hit comedy ‘Ally McBeal.’ Besides acting, Liu is also a visual artist, and some of her works are displayed in Los Angeles and New York Galleries. The star is definitely not slowing down.
