When it comes to Amy and Tammy, big is an understatement! The dynamic duo was known to tip the scales at a combined weight of over 1000 pounds, hence the name of their hit show, “1000-Lb Sisters.” According to a TLC press release, the sisters were “tipping the scales at over 1000 pounds combined.”

But while their weight loss journey has been the show’s focus, their hilarious banter and the sisterly bond keep viewers coming back for more. Of course, siblings who have a good relationship tend to be happier in life, and they tend to report higher levels of life satisfaction.
