In Touch obtained documents showing that Michael sought joint custody of his two sons, Gage and Glenn. While the case is ongoing, let’s celebrate dads who take an active role in parenting. Apparently, fathers who take paternity leave are more likely to be involved in their child’s upbringing.
Studies show that involved dads have a positive impact on their children’s academic success and emotional well-being. Michael also sought a court-ordered parenting schedule, as the kids had been in Amy’s custody. So here’s to him and all the dads who show up, step up and keep up with their little ones.
