Disco Ride

Elevators may be small, but they are still public spaces nonetheless, so we often cannot control what others do in them. We don’t doubt that these disco dancers would not be in the elevator if this woman could have had any say.

She had been waiting for the elevator for a while, and when it eventually arrived, it was full of people, and they were dancing in it. She moved quickly to the other door to try and see if she could hitch another ride. We don’t know if she had a thing against the dancing or the disco clothes they had.
