Can you believe that in the dozen years that Lacey Turner has portrayed the role of Stacey Slater in BBC’s hit soap opera EastEnders, she won over thirty awards? Not surprising at all since her character is pretty popular with the general audience and the critics alike.

In 2010, Turner decided to quit and try other things; she worked on the shows True Love and Bedlam. Yet, she couldn’t resist the pull of the feisty Slater and returned to it four years later, much to the delight of her fans. In her personal life, too, she’s in a happy space with a loving husband and their two adorable kids.
