Brian Murphy – George Roper In Man About the House

Brian Murphy is best recognized as George Roper, the henpecked husband in the hit sitcom “Man About the House.” He also played the role in its spin-off series “George and Mildred.” Another noteworthy part of his is Stan the shopkeeper in the ’90s children’s show “Wizadora.”

In 1995, he married his second wife, actress Linda Regan. They have both appeared in TV sitcoms, like “Last of the Summer Wine,” “Hi-de-Hi!,” and “The Catherine Tate Show.” The lovebirds reside locally in Kent, according to the Avante Care website.
